Professional Background

My background is in finance whilst also running large social presences in my spare time for fun (owned and managed 3m+ in audiences across TW and FB). Joined Social Chain in 2015, running their media arm of 80m+ followers at the time. They then built this out into its own entity, Media Chain where I was Operations Director and shortly after the Media Director, looking after the growth of the business (started as 6 and scaled to 72 staff) and then moved to the positioning and brand development of their leading brands. Whilst there I personally created, launched and grew one of their largest brands, GameByte which now has a total audience over 7m, and at the time of leaving I oversaw all brands which had a total audience well over 100m. Now launching Campfire, I have years of experience in understanding how and why content travels online across all platforms, as well as a deep understanding of why people do what they do online. My role and mission now is to go deeper than engagement for the world's biggest brands, by building a team of industry experts to deliver best in class work.

Current Job Description

As CEO of a small-to-mid sized agency, my role is still relatively all encompassing. From Business Management and business strategy, all the way to supporting on specialist social strategies, and supporting in the innovation that goes on at Campfire on a regular basis. To summarise, I'm doing a good job when I can support the team in whichever way is most beneficial to them and allows them to be the best at what they do.

If you were a character from a fairytale, who would you be and why?

I think there's likely two answers here, one for who I'd want to be and one for who I realistically am. Although not a fairytale, James Bond would be ideal, I'm just simply not cool enough. A more realistic character would be Charlotte, from Charlotte's Web...
